A Digital Sign Brings Travelers to Downtown Weiser Businesses

  • Local Champion: Friends of the Chamber of Commerce
  • Date Funded: June 23, 2026
  • Grant Amount: $28,850

Weiser’s downtown business district is home to many local businesses, but travelers passing through on the highway often don’t know that a commercial district exists just off their route. One local business owner and Weiser Chamber of Commerce member recognized this persistent gap, so they reached out to LOR with a solution. LOR’s funding will help the Weiser Chamber of Commerce purchase and install a double-sided digital sign along the highway. The sign will direct travelers downtown while promoting local businesses, nonprofits, and events at no cost, strengthening Weiser’s economy.
