Organizational Supplies Enable Launch of Clothing Bank at Taos Elementary School

  • Local Champion: A Taos Local
  • Date Funded: December 18, 2024
  • Grant Amount: $700

Arroyos del Norte Elementary recently established a community room, which includes a clothing bank where families in need can discreetly and easily access the clothing their students need to feel comfortable and confident at school. However, the team managing the space lacked the shelving and organizational supplies required to manage and distribute donations, so a school employee reached out for support.

Funding provided by the LOR Foundation helped Arroyos del Norte to purchase storage shelves, shoe racks, garment racks, and sandwich boards that will be used to display school-wide updates about this resource.

This project is fiscally sponsored by Downtown Taos.
