New Equipment Bolsters Monte Vista Basketball Team’s Confidence on and off the Court

  • Local Champion: Monte Vista School District NO. C-8
  • Date Funded: November 5, 2024
  • Grant Amount: $10,000

Providing student-athletes with high-quality training equipment and gear helps to prevent inquiries, improve performance, and foster team spirit. So, when the new coach of the Monte Vista Basketball team recognized that his players were struggling to reach their potential due to inadequate program resources, he reached out to LOR for help.

LOR’s support will fund the purchase of new uniforms and equipment to support the team’s practices, including a training system designed to help players maximize their speed, vertical jump, and confidence on and off the court.
