More Instructors Help Lander’s Beloved Pipe Band Grow

The Lander Pipe Band—the best pipe band in Wyoming—is so popular it has a wait list for potential members. The only reason the wait list exists, though, is because the band, which performs at more than 50 community events each year, only has one instructor. Recognizing that the only way to grow the band would be to train more instructors, one band member came up with an idea: Train eight experienced musicians as additional instructors so the pipe band can accommodate all those waiting to join. They just needed a little help to get started. LOR’s funding will help cover the cost of the lessons required to train current band members as instructors.
