Locals Show Taos Teachers and Staff How Much They’re Loved

  • Local Champion: Taos Supports Educators
  • Date Funded: August 11, 2023
  • Grant Amount: $4,700

Amidst long days and an oft-shifting learning landscape, Taos educators and support staff often feel undervalued for the work they do to support Taos students. This has not gone unnoticed, though, and some parents want to show teachers just how much they are appreciated. With this in mind, an informal group called Taos Supports Educators hoped to provide a hot breakfast to school staffers during both the fall and spring semesters in the coming year. Funding from LOR will be used to provide hot breakfasts for 470 education staffers throughout the school district and let local teachers know how much they are loved.

This project is fiscally sponsored by True Kids 1
