Lander’s Rhythm Of the Dance Holiday Show Will Reach New Audiences

  • Local Champion: Lander Community Concerts Association
  • Date Funded: October 18, 2023
  • Grant Amount: $8,590

While Lander has brought high-quality cultural and performing arts performances to town over the past few years, those experiences haven’t been accessible for residents with lower incomes. The director of Lander Performing Arts noticed this in particular at last year’s Nutcracker event, and reached out to the LOR Foundation with a potential solution. LOR ultimately made a grant that covered the cost of 200 tickets to this season’s “Rhythm of the Dance” holiday show, which will be advertised via direct mailers to residents across town. The hope is that by reducing the financial barrier, performing arts in Lander will reach new audiences.
