Lander Launches a Free Medical Clinic to Serve the Uninsured
A $1,200 grant to Lander Free Medical Clinic on December 16, 2021
Roughly 14 percent of Lander residents don’t have health insurance, so often their only access to medical treatment is through an emergency room for crisis intervention. The Lander Free Medical Clinic will provide medical services—free primary prevention and wellness services, as well as free outpatient non-emergency acute and chronic primary care—to Lander’s uninsured. But the clinic needed a fundraising tool to launch, so the founder approached LOR with a potential solution: Network for Good, fundraising software for small nonprofits, would help the clinic get off the ground and raise enough funds to begin serving Lander’s uninsured. LOR’s funding supported the purchase of a year’s subscription.
