A Simple Lightbulb Helps Taos Homes Become More Energy Efficient

Taos locals, especially those with lower incomes, have limited access to energy efficiency resources, leading to increased energy costs and use. Resilient Community, a newly formed informal group of stakeholders meeting to address energy use and climate change wanted to help address this gap by providing energy efficient lightbulbs along with tips for how to conserve energy at home at Taos’ Halloween plaza event and to lower-income neighborhoods. LOR’s funding will help support the purchase the lightbulbs that will be distributed.
