Staying Cool: AC Unit Helps a Learning Center in Cortez Thrive

Because it is centrally located and caters to all residents, Cortez locals rely on the community center at Unlimited Learning for adult education classes and other opportunities. However, over the summer the center experienced a failure of its air conditioning unit that maintains a safe operating temperature for its computer server room, putting both online and in-person classes at risk. To address the problem, the interim director contacted the LOR Foundation, which helped Unlimited Learning replace the cooling unit and ensure Cortez residents have access to adult education.
