Full Send Fund Grants
The She Sends Foundation offers $500 scholarships to help women and girls overcome financial barriers to pursuing mountain and gravel bike riding goals, including competitive, recreational, and community-based opportunities.
Deadline: June 1

Tommy Wilson Memorial Grant
The Society of Health and Physical Educators offers between $500 and $1,500 to nonprofits providing recreational programs and activities to individuals with disabilities. Funding may support equipment, facilities, housing, and participation costs, but not administrative expenses.
Deadline: June 1

Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act Grant
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) offers grants that support current and former Drug Free Communities grantees working to prevent youth opioid, methamphetamine, and prescription drug misuse, with emphasis on rural and tribal communities.
Deadline: June 8

Justice Reinvestment Initiative
The Bureau of Justice Assistance supports state, local, and tribal governments with grants up to $4 million to reduce crime and recidivism by improving justice system operations, cutting inefficiencies, and reinvesting savings into public safety and community justice strategies.
Deadline: June 10

Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grants
These grants, ranging from $7,000 to $750,000 each, aim to provide a range of suicide prevention services, including outreach, mental health screening, education, clinical services, peer support, benefits assistance, and emergent needs support. Priority is for organizations serving areas with limited medical services, rural communities, tribal lands, U.S. territories, minority veterans, women veterans, or areas with high call volume areas to the Veterans Crisis Line.

Staff Sergeant Fox Suicide Prevention Grant
The Staff Sergeant Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program offers between $100,000 and $750,000 to nonprofits, tribal entities, community organizations, and local governments providing non-clinical suicide prevention and support services for veterans and military families.
Deadline: June 12

Infinite Hero Foundation Grants
The Infinite Hero Foundation offers grants up to $100,000 to nonprofits supporting active-duty service members, veterans, and military families recovering from service-related physical and mental injuries. Funding supports programs focused on physical recovery, brain health, suicide prevention, veteran leadership, and military family support.

Rural Business Development Grant
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Business Development Grant is offering a share of $27.7 million to rural cooperatives, nonprofits, tribes, local governments, and educational institutions for projects that support business development, entrepreneurship, infrastructure, training, and community economic growth in rural areas.
Deadlines: June 15 and June 30

Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) Grant Program
The Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Grant Programs Directorate implements and administers SAFER grants, which provide financial assistance to help fire departments increase frontline firefighters.
Deadline: June 22

Planning Grants
The Rural Communities Opioid Response Program offers $100,000 Planning Grants to help rural communities build partnerships and develop systems for substance use prevention, treatment, recovery, and behavioral health services.
Deadline: June 22

Impact Grants
The Rural Communities Opioid Response Program offers Impact Grants up to $750,000 to expand rural substance use prevention, treatment, recovery, and behavioral health services through coordinated, community-based approaches addressing opioid and other substance use disorders.

Teacher Quality Partnership Program
The Department of Labor is offering a share of $70 million to support partnerships between high-need school districts and higher education institutions that strengthen teacher preparation, expand teacher apprenticeship and workforce pathways, improve student achievement, and recruit and retain qualified teachers in high-need schools.
Deadline: June 23

Media Projects Program
The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Division of Lifelong Learning is accepting applications for the Media Projects program. The purpose of this program is to support the development, production, and distribution of radio programs, podcasts, and documentary films that engage general audiences with humanities ideas in creative and appealing ways. NEH makes Media Projects awards at two levels: Development and Production.

Distance Learning and Telemedicine Grant Program
The USDA offers between $50,000 and $750,000 to support rural education and healthcare access through telecommunications technology, including video equipment, broadband, software, and telemedicine tools.
Deadline: June 30

We Serve to Remember 9/11 Day of Service Grant
Youth Service America provides $1,000 to schools, nonprofits, and youth leaders ages 5 to 25 for service projects held around Sept. 11, 2026 that honor those impacted by 9/11 and engage at least 100 youth volunteers.
Deadline: June 30

Outdoor Access Initiative
Yamaha Outdoor Access Initiative grants support projects that protect, improve, expand, or maintain safe and sustainable motorized off-road vehicle access on public and community lands.
Deadlines: June 30 and September 30

Community Partnership Award
Mutual of America provides awards ranging from $50,000 to $100,000 to nonprofits partnering with public, private, or social sector organizations to address social challenges through innovative, collaborative, and replicable community solutions.
Deadline: July 1

Karma for Cara Microgrant
The Karma for Cara Foundation offers between $250 and $1,000 to youth ages 18 and under across the United States for community service projects led by students. Funding supports hands-on projects that engage other youth in activities that benefit their communities.
Deadline: July 1

Matching Awards Program
The National Forest Foundation supports nonprofits, tribes, and universities with grants $35,000 or less for projects that connect people to National Forests and Grasslands through community engagement, outdoor education, stewardship, and cultural activities. Projects require a 1:1 nonfederal cash match.
Deadline: July 9

Public Works and Economic Adjustment Assistance Programs
The Economic Development Administration will award a share of $25 million for industry-led workforce development projects that prepare workers for an AI-enabled economy through upskilling and workforce training initiatives.
Deadline: July 10

Pilot Program for Transit-Oriented Development Planning
The Federal Transit Administration is offering a share of $28.5 million to support local planning efforts that integrate transportation, housing, economic development, and mixed-use development around new transit projects and station areas.
Deadline: July 10

AllTrails Stewards Fund
The AllTrails Stewards Fund supports nonprofit trail projects that expand outdoor access through trail maintenance, restoration, signage, visitor amenities, and new trail development.
Deadline: July 17

Jeremiah Lucey Grant Program
The Leary Firefighters Foundation’s Jeremiah Lucey Grant Program offers between $5,000 and $25,000 to paid and volunteer fire departments nationwide for equipment, training, education, and technology that improves firefighter safety and operational readiness.
Deadline: August 15

Bookmobile Grant
The Lois Lenski Covey Foundation offers between $500 and $3,000 grants to bookmobile programs serving disadvantaged children to help purchase books for youth from preschool through eighth grade. Eligible applicants include nonprofits, public libraries, and schools operating lending bookmobiles for economically or socially at-risk children.

Social Drivers of Health Grant
Intermountain Community Care Foundation offers grants up to $300,000 for nonprofits addressing nutrition security or housing stability through wraparound services. Grant size and criteria differs based on location.

Advocacy and Justice With Communities of Color Grants
Eligible State(s): Colorado
The Colorado Health Foundation offers  between $50,000 and $200,000 annually for two to five years to organizations led by or centered on communities of color advancing racial, economic, and health equity in Colorado.

Community-Initiated Solutions Grants
Eligible State(s): Colorado
This Colorado Health Foundation funding opportunity supports community-led projects advancing health equity in Colorado. Priority is given to efforts rooted in communities of color, Indigenous, rural, and economically marginalized communities.

Equitable Community-Designed Outdoor Spaces Grants
Eligible State(s): Colorado
The Colorado Health Foundation offers between $25,000 and $50,000 planning grants for community-led outdoor spaces in Colorado, including parks and playgrounds designed with youth and families through equity-centered community engagement.
Deadline: June 15

Developing Agency, Identity, and Belonging in Young People Grants
Eligible State(s): Colorado
The Colorado Health Foundation offers up to $250,000 over two years for programs supporting BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, immigrant, refugee, disabled, foster youth, and justice-involved young people through culturally responsive spaces that build belonging, connection, and well-being.

Supporting Coloradans in Recovery Through Non-Clinical Programs Grants
Eligible State(s): Colorado
The Colorado Health Foundation supports non-clinical recovery programs helping Coloradans with mental health and substance use challenges access culturally responsive services, housing, community support, and recovery resources close to home.
Deadline: June 16

Forever Idaho Grants
Eligible State(s): Idaho
The Idaho Community Foundation offers $3,000 to $25,000 in general operating support for nonprofits and public entities serving Idaho communities. Funds may support payroll, utilities, equipment, capital improvements, and program needs.
Deadlines: June 15 and August 15

Agricultural Water Resilience Program
Eligible State(s): New Mexico
The Agricultural Water Resilience Program offers grants up to $300,000 for projects that help New Mexico farmers and ranchers conserve water and improve agricultural water management.
Deadline: June 29

Anschutz Family Foundation
Eligible State(s): Colorado
The Anschutz Family Foundation offers $5,000 to $10,000 grants to Colorado nonprofits and public entities supporting strong families, community development, and programs serving youth, seniors, people with disabilities, and economically disadvantaged communities.
Deadline: July 1

Resources

Hydro Flask Donations
Hydro Flask donates metal water bottles to U.S. nonprofits supporting arts, sports, outdoor recreation, environmental and climate initiatives, and waste reduction efforts. Eligible organizations may request between 48 and 240 products for community engagement, fundraising, or participant incentives.

Targeted Technical Assistance for Rural Hospitals Program
The Targeted Technical Assistance for Rural Hospitals Program provides no-cost technical assistance to rural hospitals and critical access hospitals facing financial and operational challenges. Selected hospitals receive multi-year support in areas such as revenue cycle optimization, telehealth, workforce retention, leadership development, and financial sustainability planning.

Montana Rural Physician Incentive Program
Eligible State(s): Montana
The Montana Rural Physician Incentive Program offers up to $150,000 in loan repayment over five years to physicians serving rural or medically underserved communities in Montana. Eligible applicants include licensed MDs and DOs practicing in shortage areas.

Free Safety Tools for Fire Prevention
The Alliance for Green Heat is providing free wood stove safety tools to firewood banks, fire departments, community action agencies, and social service centers to help prevent home fires. Available resources include ash buckets, stove thermometers, chimney sweep kits, and indoor air quality tools for community education and distribution.

2026 Montana Rural Summit
The Rural Summit brings together funders, policymakers, service providers, and community leaders to explore strategies for strengthening rural Montana. Held June 10 in Townsend, Montana, the event features research, rural success stories, policy discussions, and leadership development focused on building thriving rural communities. Registration is $51.50 per person.
