Alex Silver

Executive Assistant

Alex brings a decade of administrative experience and a strong knack for problem solving and office management to his role as executive assistant to LOR’s executive director. Hailing from Connecticut, Alex earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Rhode Island, enhancing his skills during a year studying at La Universidad de Salamanca in Spain, where he became fluent in Spanish.

After college Alex worked on the campaign to help elect the first female governor of Rhode Island, Gina Raimondo. Eager to explore beyond the East Coast, he relocated to Denver in 2015, where his passion for administrative and nonprofit work flourished. Before joining the LOR team, Alex was the executive assistant at Sewald Hanfling Public Affairs, a Denver-based firm that helped him better understand community-engagement strategies. He also currently serves on the board of directors for the Denver Rustlers, a local nonprofit that empowers Colorado’s youth farmers and ranchers by helping them earn money for their education.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Alex’s passions include skiing, running, and climbing. He resides with his partner and dog, Cortez, in Denver.

My Kind of Livable
