Lander Summer Spark Application
LOR’s Lander Summer Spark funding is available to individuals and organizations to offset the costs associated with running a public educational or recreational activity (free or fee-based) for the Lander community. Funding requests can be made until March 11; only one grant is available per applicant.
- Activities must be recreational or educational and open to the public; organizers cannot discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, veteran status, marital status, or disability in admission or access.
- Activities must be held in a public space such as a business, church, school, or city park. Activities cannot be offered in a private residence. All youth programs must be designed for two or more participants.
- To apply for Lander Summer Spark funding, an individual must be at least 18, associated with an organization that covers liability, and agree to complete a background check (for youth activities). If you are not associated with an organization, you can contact the Lander Parks and Recreation office or Central Wyoming College Lander Community Enrichment, as both of these organizations are looking for summer programs and can assist with marketing and registration.
If your idea meets these criteria, please submit your request using this form.
